.) The song must be by Three Days Grace, Evanescence, or Mindless Self Indulgence. If it is not by one of these artists, it must sound very similar.
.) Include at least 7 run cycles. The fewer frames, the better.
.) Make sure to have one of each of the following: A closeup of the protagonist's eyes, gritted teeth, 3 red claw marks slashing across the screen, and bloody claws. (Bonus points for a single tear rolling down cheek)
.) At least one character design must be slightly different than how it is described in the book series, so people have something to complain about.
.) The AMV must focus on Scourge, Tigerstar, Bluestar, Ashfur, or Hollyleaf. (If not these characters, then the character in question MUST have a tragic / angsty past.)
.) Trace every frame of your AMV from someone else's AMV, but never admit you did it. (If you get called out, claim that THEY copied YOU.)
.) Character designs must be anime inspired. Characters can't be angsty if they don't have bangs and giant eyes.
.) Never finish your AMVs. Cut out at least 3/4 of the song; it's easier that way and nobody has the attention span to listen to a full song anyway.
.) Make sure your characters sing along with the music. This adds much needed dramatic effect.
.) Use as many Windows Movie Maker transitions as possible. This makes the AMV look very professional.
Do all of these things and you will have the perfect Warrior Cats AMV, one that you'll never look back on as an adult and quietly sob.
